I've gotten the same error. Here's my advice -- don't use MinerGate. For anything. Find a new pool. They are not legit. Try supportXMR if you're looking to do XMR.

I have a hard time seeing it go past 20k once Wall Street gets involved. I think that it will look like gold, as in the chart will be a nice slope like gold was from 2001-present, with a drop off eventually happening.

I agree with Litecoin and Monero. Litecoin because transactions are fast and cheap, Monero because privacy works and transactions cannot be traced. I'm not sure they will be the most expensive in the future, but they will be used.
