Are those running at about the same speed? It's still definitely worth trying another pool. There isn't really any other tweaking you can do for CPU mining.It's not about the network difficulty - each pool has a different way of splitting work up and that results in important factors for slower miners like time between work varying. Mac OS doesn't use .bat files but you can use a .sh scriptI think the best way to accomplish what you want is to use the Preferences in MacMiner to set up CPU Miner to auto-start when MacMiner opens?Did you order the 5 chip or 1 chip device?so the standard procedure is actually to run one instance for each device? That sucks. Thanks for the info! If you want to do that with MacMiner you can run it at the command line like/Applications/MacMiner-gridseed.app/Content…The 5 chip definitely works for Scrypt mining on Mac right now, although there are issues which make using multiples of those devices simultaneously troublesome, but not impossible. Awesome! Try a few different frequencies, 750 and 850 have been said to work well. If you keep getting a lot of rejects you might run faster at 750.Someone else already went through all the troubleshooting parts with the 5 chi…Ah cool, you don't need to worry about drivers with that one, just run it in CPU Miner set to LTC with the same manual flags as above - replacing the device path of course!
