Are those running at about the same speed? It's still definitely worth trying another pool. There isn't really any other tweaking you can do for CPU mining.
It's not about the network difficulty - each pool has a different way of splitting work up and that results in important factors for slower miners like time between work varying. Definitely try a pool that's not based on the same PHP pool interface …
Thanks for the report, what coin do you set up, only bitcoin?
Do you have other devices plugged in too? Could be a conflict… Ice fury should work without messing about with the drivers. best to restart and try ASIC and CG window…
Very sorry I've been too busy to develop lately but this is the top of the list, if deleting that folder then if necessary restarting doesn't help please try appzapper.com
they show up at tty and cu but you always want to use the cu path
The only notable change for gridseed in 8 is that the GPU window should work for LTC dual miner usage and the ASIC window for BTC - this is untested however...
wich miner window are using and how have to set it up - do other things like GPU minig work? looks as though maybe changing https to http in the pool url might help
I'm guessing this is a problem with the hub, mining devices tend to be very picky with them - if you can get one withOUT surge protection that's a good start, it might be worth looking for one other people have reported using successfully.
The 5 chip device is cool because you don't have to worry about drivers or anything like that. Just set up a Litecoin pool and use the CPU Miner window with manual flags
so the standard procedure is actually to run one instance for each device? That sucks. Thanks for the info! If you want to do that with MacMiner you can run it at the command line like
Ah cool, you don't need to worry about drivers with that one, just run it in CPU Miner set to LTC with the same manual flags as above - replacing the device path of course!
