OK thanks for testing it out, I should have a new version I expect to work better ready very soon! You're the first person to give detailed feedback for the 1 chip device, and detailed feedback is all we needed to get the 5 chip devices hashing
The S1 should connect directly to the network via wifi or ethernet - it does run cgminer though so you should theoretically be able to add it to the API Output window with the 'Add Networked Miner' button.
If you ran the kextunload that essentially uninstalls the drivers, you can run the same command with kextload or just restart to get them to load again!
Not surprised the fans cause electro magnetic interference, with the much lower energy usage of just scrypt mining i bet you could get away without the fans. Maybe there's some workaround, like connecting the fan's + and - cables after cutting them.…
I had a look at the firmware upgrade and I'm not optimistic about getting it to work on a Mac, I don't think I could get a solution figured out without a unit to test and that's not going to happen for a while - I'm hoping we can telnet to the devic…
750 doesn't necessarily work better, it depends on the chips in your specific unit and temperature, stuff like that, it's definitely work experimenting with different values, 600 is default and higher should be faster but beyond a certain point it s…
It looks as though it uses an algorithm unsupported by MacMiner - I'll look in to supporting that, did they change it or did it break in a new version of MacMiner or what?
Sorry about this, I'll keep looking for a solution to this problem or at least to reproduce it, for now it's just narrowed down to definitely being the fault of the config files in
Hey, thanks! You can edit config manually in the miner settings panel for cg/GPU and ASIC windows but the CPU window only takes one pool. To generate a config with spaces for two backups pools run the legacy pool config there's a button for in Pool …
