xmr-stak 2.4.3 on 10.13.4 problem
hi,
just tried the new version without success. both (cpu only and cpu/amd) give an error msg on start.
dyld: Library not loaded: @executable_path/openssl/lib/libcrypto.1.0.0.dylib
Referenced from: /Users/kp/Desktop/xmrstakcpu2.4.3/openssl/lib/libssl.1.0.0.dylib
Reason: image not found
Abort trap: 6
i checked the oppenssl folder and as expected the dylib is there.
i also tried to move the xmrstak folder to applications without change.
system error msg is:
_Termination Reason: DYLD, [0x1] Library missing

There was a link problem with the first posted version, which could cause that error. Please try these files:

I am also having issues. Although everything works fine for me, monero7 algo is returning bad results to the pool. There is no problem with windows. can you take a look? thanks. I am mining XHV
I think XHV is either not supported or you need to use cryptonight_heavy instead of monero7

Hello fabulous panda. thanks for replying very quickly. yes XHV uses monero7. i ahve even tried using cryptonight_heavy or cryptonight7 as is listed in the options but to no avail.
I can confirm that i am mining with monero algo on windows and it works well..
could you please take a look at this? i ahve tried the new files linked in the above posts as well.

I have noticed a problem with this version of xmr stak. The AMD GPU on my imac pro is not working. It was working with the previoous version that you have already posted but there was an algo problem ( cryptonight heavy)with that version. Could you please take a look? thanks

new version work again, cpu only on all machine i tried. amd only on the imac. on the mac pro the same msg as on the imac on first run (openclbin not found, compiling). but the "illegal instruction 4" and it stops. on the imac it compiles and the mining starts.

I don't why, but since yesterday I got an error: Illegal Instruction: 4 on my High Sierra machine ...??!! anyone knows why ???
The GPU version I compiled seems to be architecture specific, sorry for that. I'll take another look at compiling it with broader support.

I am trying to use xmr-stak 2.4.3 compiled for CPU and AMD GPUs. Every time I start xmr-stak, I get "Illegal Instruction: 4" error message and it doesn't go any further. How do I fix this???

When I try xmr-stak 2.4.1 for CPU/AMD GPUs, the miner works but all my results are rejected by the pool. Please help!
I just tried this for an hour or so, on my MacPro (6-core plus dual AMD FirePro). On the pool I tried, I peaked about 600 H/s and averaged over 400 H/s, but the pool said I would take about 1000 days just to receive 0.3 Monero! I've just turned it off. It was running hot, using full CPUs and GPUs, while on the standard CPU miner (over several days) I was getting up to 260 H/s using 5 threads. With the graphic cards unused the computer was still useful for watching YouTube and the like. However, I never had a chance against the global hash rate. I would be interested to find something else to mine, but otherwise, Proof of Stake is the only thing i can manage.
