MacMiner problem with ASIC miners (both Antminer and block erupter)

I tried to find an answer for this.

I have now tried to mine first with block erupters and then with antminers. I have same problem with both.

I have a powered USB hub with 5 volts and 2 amps power. I put for ex. three erupters in hub. First erupter and last erupter works fine, but the one in the middle does not. I also tried with three Antminers and got same results.

What could be the problem? I see all three in API window, but only the first and last give me results. The middle one gives only HW errors.

It does not matter in which ports miners are, result is still the same.

I tried those miners with bfgminer and still got the same results. I think this might be a driver problem.

Is there any other suitable drivers for OS X or is Silab-driver the only solution?

Or is there some tricks for Silab-driver?

I noticed that one miner isn't accepting any shares and still API view shows it's speed about 2GH/s.

I also tried to add some erupters in hub also, but it did not help.

Rebootting does not help. Another USB port for powered hub does not help.

I'm guessing this is a problem with the hub, mining devices tend to be very picky with them - if you can get one withOUT surge protection that's a good start, it might be worth looking for one other people have reported using successfully.

Problem was the hub. I got an Orico hub with 12V 2,5A power and it is working with all my miners perfectly.
