Brand new and TOTALLY out of my depth!!!

Hi all, if anyone can help me get started, I'd be very grateful.

I've got an ASIC 60ghz unit.

I've set up my bit coin core wallet.

I'm looking to pool mine through the eligius tab.

I've selected FPGA/ASIC Miner. But can't start.

What am I doing wrong and what do I need to do. I'm seriously simple stupid at this!!!

What brand ASIC? Something connected via USB? You'll probably need to enable the type it is in the settings panel for the FPGA/ASIC window
