Noob is lost, can't find way out of virtual wet bag

joined panda pool by default, ran for 30+ hours and couldn't find a place to see if what my computer is doing is actually working.

so i joined triple mining. they show what they see I'm doing.

my question, 

i purchased the Jalapeño BFL, hooked it up and stared up quickly putting numbers on the screen through CG miner, CPUMiner is running also, but BFG Miner and FPGA/ASIC Miner are remaining at a steady 0.

what is Mh, MH, KH, and Gh?

which one is the jalapeño? and what is the other?

is it ok to run all of those windows? or just the ones that are greater than Zero?

I'm running on a iMac OS X  10.7.5 from late 2006

Processor  2.16 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo

Memory  3 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM

Graphics  ATI Radeon X1600 128 MB

Software  Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5 (11G63)

this is an extra computer that is not used by anyone else.

doing this as hobby, and just to say I'm on the bandwagon.

On 10.7 and 10.8 CG is the window for ASIC and on 10.9 it's the FPGA/ASIC that's best - you can use that one if you install the drivers but there's no point unless you want MobileMiner control, your BFL should be showing up in the  API output window.

might want to switch to http://FabulousPanda.triplemining.com/ which is better for slower miners

also no point CPU mining BTC, try mining an Alt coin on your CPU at the same time as BTC mining with the Jala!

You should stop and close bfg and asic windows - what are you CPU mining?

thought it was BTC, because that is what the pool setting says.

Hmm, probably a peculiarity because the difficulty is way too hard for CPU mining BTC, definitely switch CPU over to Litecoin, Dogecoin, VertCoin or QuarkCoin

Don't understand what you mean? Are you using the pool setup in the Preferences window (advised) or the pool setup panel (not advised)?

If you mean why doesn't it remember the settings for pool you previously but do not currently have set up, it just doesn't right now and that bugs me too so an update should fix that!

just updated and the pool, username, and password popped up as they should.

but now my CGminer is not working instead of GH it has Mh

Please open Activity Monitor and see whether there's more than one cgminer process - if so force quit them - it's likely to still be running, from the last time around. What version was that you were using before? MacMiner tries to stop you from quitting if they're still running.

i was on v 1.5.13.

opened activity monitor, it was running, i force quit, quit macminer, and still did not change back to Gh.

restarted the whole computer, and now all is right in the MacMining world.

again i thank you for your time. and once i actually get a coin, i will donate to the cause.
