How do I create a ".bat" type file for MAC?

I've been searching the forum for this answer/guide... but haven't seen it.

Is there a way to create a ".bat" type file like on Windows, to bypass having to type into the terminal each time I start to mine/connect to a pool?

do you know shell scripts? If you put the command you'd run in Terminal in a file and give it the extension .sh then open Terminal and 

chmod 777 yourfile.sh

Then right click-get info the yourfile.sh and set it to always open with Terminal (requires unchecking 'recommended' applications
