Newbie Question

Hi I am new here and would like to know if i am doing things correctly.

My BTC address is:

14FsLShiAHDNqTHtR99nLc2GCvNVcvD4Sn

I don't have LTC address (not sure how to get one).

I entered that address in the BTC pool setting both as Username and Password. Is that correct?

I am using CPU miner and it shows 18KH, accepted 3 of 3

Am I digging anything? Is that correct?

For BFG miner it shows:

What am I doing wrong?

I didn't use CG miner as it is asking to modify some driver and I am not ready to do it now.

FPGA miner is not doing anything. Not sure what I should do either.

I am a total noob in this, is there like a simple explanation guide somewhere that would explain the differences of these miners? I am not sure what they are for to be honest.

You need a LTC address for cpuminer, you can get from the wallet download at litecoin.org

That pool in BFG Miner is down but it shouldn't be a problem - you can replace it though if you like in miner settings panel - edit config file manually

Are you trying to mine on GPU? IF so make sure enable gpu mining is checked

BTC address just goes in the BC address field it'll auto fill into username/pass fields if you don't put anything else there for next time
