xmr-stak on Mac Pro 2010 with RX 580
I installed Saphire Nitro + RX 580 on my Mac Pro 2010. But after the program runs, the computer become very laggy. I even barely move the mouse. I tried CPU mining only before, but it works great, no issue.
I thought that was the intensity too high, so I set the intensity lower. The issue still occur. Anyone have similar problem?

That's standard behaviour with xmr gpu mining. It's a very intense algorithm.
Thanks for the reply, I am asking because it is not happening in the windows 10 machine. But now I throw a GTX 120 on it and my Mac Pro works smoothly.
If you mine on a secondary GPU that isn't the one driving your display you should be able to keep using the Mac. Otherwise it's likely to be unusable while mining xmr, gentler algorithms would be a better bet if you want to use the machine while it's mining.
mining XHV . I get an error saying that i am using the wrong algo even though i need to use monero7 and i am using monero7. can you please look into this? fantastic project btw!
