Any chance of supporting PHI1612 algorithm?
Been looking for an sgminer for mac to mine LUXCoin, any chance of supporting PHI1612 algorithm?

I'll take a look at it when I get a chance! Have you heard any reports of whether the miner compiles alright for macOS?
Thanks. The author didn't say anything about mac, the official algorithm and code is @ https://github.com/216k155/sgminer-phi1612-Implemented
It compiles fine with Linux.
P.S. the algorithm files are phi.c and phi.h thank you!
Unfortunately it doesn't seem to want to be compiled for macOS as is.
will the CC miner work for Lux on MacOS?
they have a ccminer bat download but it is for windows.
It should work with a bit of fixing for macOS, like the standard ccminer, I think.
I got the cgminer-phi from the link above compiled after messing around for a while, please test it for inclusion in the GUI in future

This has the miner in MacMiner.app/Contents/Resources/sgminerphi/bin/sgminer
cd to that directory in Terminal and run
./sgminer -k phi -o stratum+tcp://lux.futurecoins.club:6667 -u LaccgqvQce3nvJPhiwf47L475PF9igFrXL -p c=LUX
Replacing the address there with your address (I just plucked it from the rich list)
Let me know whether you get accepted shares etc. and if it works I'll update the GUI for it.

Ah, unfortunately those cards are just too old to work with this miner. Not sure whether they'd work with ccminer either.

I'm not sure you'll get much out of that GPU but you can try some of the other miners in MacMiner if you like as well. Some of them are less intensive algorithms than others.
i have a new AMD card now. .i will try today
it did not seem to work. it stayed on initializing for about 30 min and did not go forward
