No New Devices Found

I am a noob at mining, so any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated. I was able to download BFGMiner and follow all of the README suggestions. I am connected to Slushpool and my S7 is on and flashing green. I enter auto to probe for new devices and the following lines pop up: OCL 0, CPU 0, CPU 1, CPU 2, and CPU 3 all with different hash rates, but nowhere near what I would expect to see from an S7. My worker name appeared under my Slushpool account, but it does not have any hash rate data, which is weird because my S7 has been continually flashing green. I am using a Mac 10.13.2 as my interface and I have it and the S7 plugged into an ethernet switch, which is then plugged into my router. Do I need to probe for my specific S7 and if so, what would the command line look like?

  • I downloaded MacMiner and connected to Slushpool just fine, but my miner is not hashing. Please see the following:

It will keep repeating the last line indefinitely. How do I make MacMiner recognize my miner? My S7 is powered up and flashing green. I thought a flashing green indicated it was hashing.

  • The Antminer S7 is a standalone miner which runs cgminer on a board it has inside it. You need to scan your network for its IP address and access that via the web interface where you would set it up.
