Whack question

Hey Now....

I'm running a 2013 MacPro desktop with 12Gb RAM and a 256Gb SSD with 2 BFL Bitcoin Miners (1 7Gh, 1 10 Gh, both over clocked) Connected via USB.

Is there any way I can get just the Gh speed and feed to a GeekTool Script?

  • There's not a hook in MacMiner for retrieving the hash rate, although you could do a dirty workaround by having the miner output the log to file and parsing that for the hash rate… I'm slightly contemplating making a subscription-based replacement for MobileMiner though, and if I do end up properly modifying the MacMiner code again it wouldn't be much of a stretch to throw that in there!
