Looks like it. Give it a while and see whether you get accepted shares. It's possible the difficulty is too high given ASICs mining SHA256 but I think people have said you can still GPU mine it at nicehash.
Definitely SHA256 and scrypt. Maybe try Decred or QRK.
Ack, please download .62 again (fixed that and updated libmicrohttpd but didn't change the version number) and let me know if bfgminer runs without issue for you.
However, the gekko support was added to the cgminer window and not the bfgm…
Apparently they ran out of keccak orders. Why can't you use a different pool?

I think the ones at 0 hash you can't mine because there…
@Clement Tang What GPU are you using? You should at the very least be able to use SHA256, scrypt and scrypt adaptive-n.
Look at the .txt files it created in the same directory as the miner binary. These have the configs for the miner in them. You can edit the files or delete them to make it generate new ones next time around.
The GPU issues aren't going to be solved with the existing GPU miner, however on that front I have ordered a 1050 so I can test against it when compiling cudaminer which will be added in a future version of MacMiner. Until that time nvidia card s…
127.0.01 is the machine you're using a.k.a. localhost. If you haven't set up that machine to mine against it you should use a pool.
I don't tend to make those suggestions, it depends what you're intention is. If you're in it for profit there are sites that keep track of the currently most profitable coins/algos you can find, or if it's more personal interest I'd suggest looki…
Is the config file in the same folder as the miner binary and what other config files are in the same folder? You can specify a config file manually by adding-c /path/to/config.t…

This has been added in MacMiner 1.5.62, please let me know how you get on!
-
For P2Pool you just get a receiving address from your wallet software and use that.
-
Reports have it that the AMD miner is very slow compared to the nvidia one making GPU mining with the available sgminer not worthwhile. I'll add it to an upcoming version anyway, and I'm looking at adding cudaminer to MacMiner for people with eGP…
-
Did you restart the miner? The changes won't take effect on an instance of the miner that's currently running. If just that doesn't work try closing the Terminal window and opening a new one.
-
Not that I know of, it's quite specialist - back when they were still operational you'd have send them back to BFL for repairs.
-
In MacMiner? You can change the pool settings at any time from the preferences window accessible from the MacMiner menu or pressing cmd-,
-
What are you trying to achieve? If you want to use less threads than have been auto configured, you delete as many lines as threads you want to remove from the config, i.e. changing this:

Thanks for testing and the report.
I noticed I'd messed up the openssl compile which broke most of the miners for some CPUs and I've replaced the download for .61 with a fixed version.
The XMR miner in MacMiner is a different vers…

Will do
-
No problem!
If you're running xmr-stak, the first time you run it it should generate a config for the cpu called cpu.txt in the same folder.
-
I've just released a beta version of MacMiner (1.5.61) which adds allium support for CPU mining only so far, it also has updated many of the libraries the miners depend on so please test as much of the app as possible especially if you're running…

Ah yes, that device is still being worked on by luke-jr (developer of bfgminer) and I believe is currently only supported by this miner:

Which device are you using specifically? Apparently they have a newer one called 2pac which wouldn't be supported yet, but will be soon.

Javascript mining has a bad reputation for a good reason - not just because it hijacks your processing power on websites that use it trying to make money from visitors, but also because most of the services that have offered it as a legitimate se…

I'll give compiling the miners a shot for the next update. When's the fork due?
-
You can, just set it up for Monero, they use the same cryptonight algorithm.
-
It's what the errors you posted suggest. I'm not sure whether anyone has managed to get them working again after that starts happening, but I guess you could try reapplying thermal paste or some such if you have any ability with hardware.
-
If you're using the miners in the Terminal, you can use xmr-stak for that from here:

Looks to me like your BFL is dead unfortunately.

Nope, AMD doesn't have drivers for macOS, those cards just use the built in drivers Apple writes.
