That is normal speed for your machine, GPU mining isn't as fast running Mac OS - if you booted up on the same machine with Linux or Windows it would be a lot faster. It's crazy but on most of the MacBooks the CPU gives about as good as the GPU!

Thanks for the email, just that is fine, the crash reports for cgminer are almost certainly from when the MaxCoin cgminer 3.6.6 kept auto restartingAck, I'll try to reproduce it - I don't suppose you have the full crash log?
