Hi everyone, I've compiled the latest bfgminer source which has changes since 5.1 which will be released in 5.2 - This includes Antminer U3 support! Please let me know how you get on.
What pool are you connected to? Looks like it's connecting ok but not getting any work, possibly your pool can't give you low enough difficulty shares for GPU mining.
Keeping the driver installed you should be able to get 4GH/s out of it with bfgminer (the ASIC window) but I don't believe anyone has got it running at full speed with the released version - but if you compile a version with this pull it will probab…
No, if you've installed those there's no point unloading these unless you unload those too. cgminer had a big options change a while back and because of issues like these I've tended to prefer and primarily support bfgminer so when the changes happe…
yes bmsc must stand for bitmain special controls because it's not supported outside of their own mods :P It should work if you just start mining in the cgminer window or at the command line with the bundled cgminer from the latest version of MacMine…
hmmm few problems here, first off are you using Bitmain's version of cgminer, an official version you compiled yourself or the version in MacMiner? You have the -o -u -p right though in Antminer U3 + 5 Antminer U2Comment by FabulousPandaMarch 2015
Hmm, it sounds as though for some reason while the GPU and ASIC windows have loaded the new configuration the CPU miner has not - I'm afraid it's been a while and I don't have the actual code in mind but I'd suggest quitting MacMiner and opening it …
Is the pool selected from a drop down list in app or how have you entered it? Are you sure to be using the WORKER username/pass and not the ACCOUNT user/pass?
that should do it - with the speed problem the clock must be either too high or too low. Try 320 which should be default and see how it works, just to make sure the clock setting isn'…
in the FPGA/ASIC window it's using bfgminer - the info is sparse and bitcointalk.org seems to be down but at least for the 30gh devices you would use the flag (in MacMiner options panel for the FPGA/ASIC window)
look for the little cog button on the miner window and Choose which currency to mine - when you start mining a popup should tell you which pool you're connecting to - it's using BTC as that's the default
ASIC window uses bfgminer and luke-jr hasn't got a device to test with, says bitmain have not been supportive of bfgminer - so not sure you can set clock but for a U2 you'd do it like this:
