Mobileminer app

Hello,

I would like to start using MobileMiner app on my iPhone. Unfortunately, even though I have in the app as well as in MacMiner correct email and app key, I do not have any date in the app. Have you ever encountered this problem?

Hey,

Support is still new and I need to make it clearer - MobileMiner will pick up anything in the API Output window (anything coming from the cg or fgpa/asic window)

You can make it pick up the bfgminer window by putting --api-listen --api-allow W:0/0 in the miner settings manual flags

Hi,

I'm using an ASIC from BFL that shows up in the API output but does not show up in the Mobile Miner app. Are there still known bugs?

There aren't as yet any known bugs in the 1.5.3 version of MacMiner, and none in any version that would cause it to be completely missing. Is the email and app key definitely correct in preferences? And is all machine info completely missing from MobileMiner or does anything else you're mining on show up there?

Pulling down the screen in MobileMiner refreshes it so if you haven't already tried it give that a shot!

email and API are same in MacMiner and MobileMiner. Pulling down the screen in MobileMiner do not help. Nothing change in version 1.5.3 problem still persist.

I've been looking at the code and might have found a bug that would cause this, could you please click the add networked miner button and put any IP address in there before pressing add - it doesn't need to be a working IP as long as it has 111.111.111.111 format - then let me know if that kicks it in to action?

Nope, doesn't help anything.

I've got the same problem here. API window shows my Blockeruptor and BFL, MobileMiner email and key set in place on both sides, but MoMi shows nothing.

Is the API Output window updating the info properly? I'll be releasing an update with a lot of bug fixes and usability improvements today so I'll try to find and squash this bug! If anyone else is using MobileMiner successfully please let me know, I am using it but it would be great to know at least one other person is using it successfully!

Just a final thought - you do have the dashes in your App Key right?

The API window shows all as it should (at least it doesn't seems to show gibberish).

And yes, all dashes in place and accounted for.

OK, could you do me a favour please and use this version briefly:

It has a window that'll be open when the app opens called debug output, please start mining, let it fetch data till the text view there is full up then select all and send it to me in a message on the forums? It'll show what it's trying to send to MobileMiner (if it is trying)

I have discovered a bug that causes MobileMiner to fail if your computer name has a dash in it and will fix this for 1.5.10 - sorry to everyone experiencing this issue!

Just d/l'd and installed latest version tonight. I'm not able to get MobileMiner to work. I've double checked my email and key (with dashes in tact). I'm running MacMiner on two different macs and no love from either of them. Have stopped/started and refreshed the MobileMiner app many times with no luck.

API Windows on the MBP running 10.7.5 shows the GPU0 in the Devices, with a bunch of values below in the text field:

Then, on the MacPro running Mavericks, I get nothing but errors in the API Output and no devices listed. It is a 2008 macpro with a ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT 256MB GPU installed. Still, not getting any love from either box where mobile miner app on iPhone 5s is concerned...

Thanks for your report, can you please open the Console app in Utilities folder and let me know whether there are a bunch of errors from MacMiner in there?

I looked in console and saw that the command wasn't working. My MacBook's name had underscores and an apostrophe in it. I renamed it DarquerMac01. MobileMiner now works.

This is a problem with HTML safe-ing the Machine name, Apostrophe's still cause the error but it should be munch improved for the next version, thank you!

MobileMiner's not working for me, either. The following entry in the log seem to show why:
