Crashing when starting mining (with fix)

For the 2nd or third time an app upgrade has resulted in a situation where my entire system locks up when clicking the start mining button (maybe just the display/UI, but still need to do a hard reset).

I have figured out that if I delete the app and all preference files and caches, it will work again without crashing.

Thanks for the report, I'm planning to put the actions that go on then on to another thread so it should at least not crash the whole app. Is this 1.5.8 that's caused the problem for you? I'll put in an easier path to reset too.

Definitely 1.5.8, 1.5.5, 1.4.25 had this problem.
