I've just released a beta version of MacMiner (1.5.61) which adds allium support for CPU mining only so far, it also has updated many of the libraries the miners depend on so please test as much of the app as possible especially if you're running older versions of macOS than High Sierra and let me know whether it's working for you. GPU support should come follow soon.
Reports have it that the AMD miner is very slow compared to the nvidia one making GPU mining with the available sgminer not worthwhile. I'll add it to an upcoming version anyway, and I'm looking at adding cudaminer to MacMiner for people with eGPUs and Hackintosh systems.

I'll give compiling the miners a shot for the next update. When's the fork due?

It looks like it's working fine for CPU mining on Sierra. The fork should happen on block 58671 which should be 8pm UTC on Friday, February 16th

This optimized version of cpuminer reportedly helps allium hashrates when CPU mining https://github.com/JayDDee/cpuminer-opt
That miner reportedly doesn't work on macOS. I'll have a look at it though.
