I really tried to get XMR-stak compiled and working with my GPU but I just kept getting so many missing file errors and I am not sure how that happened because I pulled everything from GIT I thought... Anyway I tried another currency and it is working perfectly... Latest build of MacMiner uses all my GPU... Perfect!!!
Anyway you could add Monero on the next release? Thanks so much!!! Really liking MacMiner!!! Going to donate some coins once I mine them

I might make a separate miner GUI on top of xmr-stak if there's enough support for it but how does just an install script sound for the command line miner? That would be a lot faster to put together.
@actionTurtle What currency did you use?
@FabulousPanda that would be awesome. I can't get a mac mining tool to work with my nvidia gpu...
Have you tried following the instructions for nvidia in this blog post?

I'd like to mine ETN, please add Monero support.
I'd suggest you to swtich to JavaScript mining. Monero value is quite high and it can be mined with similar efficiency by CPU and GPU, mining other cryptocurrencies with CPU makes no financial sense so best choice would be mining Monero same as locally or conjuntly. I'd refer you to CoinImp which is the best site I know so far with the lowest fees. I also tried Coinhive in my early mining time with no positive success on profits. It's up to you to try and test, good luck!
Javascript mining has a bad reputation for a good reason - not just because it hijacks your processing power on websites that use it trying to make money from visitors, but also because most of the services that have offered it as a legitimate service have been shown to steal hash power, not release funds or take too high a fee. I'd definitely recommend sticking with xmr-stak, xmrig or any other open source miner that doesn't rely on trust of a third party. Or if you can't get those miners compiled then I have a hard time believing a javascript miner would run as efficiently as the compiled xmr-stak from this site or the CPU XMR miner included in MacMiner.
Browser-based mining, as its name suggests, is a method of cryptocurrency mining that happens inside a browser and is implemented using scripting language. This is different compared to the more widely known file-based cryptocurrency mining approach which involves downloading and running a dedicated executable file.
