MacMiner not recognizing My Ltcbox login?

need help here. Everytime I try to mine of my cpu, I keep getting the same error message.
[2014-08-07 12:04:22] HTTP request failed: Empty reply from server
[2014-08-07 12:04:22] json_rpc_call failed, retry after 30 seconds
[2014-08-07 12:04:52] HTTP request failed: Empty reply from server
[2014-08-07 12:04:52] json_rpc_call failed, retry after 30 seconds

I have tried using both my email and user name for the pool at LTCBOX.net but I keep getting the same results. Yes I am a NOOB BUT you where one too once so please help me out.

    I suspect you're using the wrong username and password - how have you got it set up? does the pool specify using poolusername.workerusername?

    yes it does. But i used both my username and my worker name, I still got nothing. I have set up a worker on the site. But still having trouble connecting

    Yes i did, I was entering the poolusername.workerusername in the wrong format. My bad But I still can't get the program to connect to my ltcbox pool. Even after i changed that. Put scrypt to (litecoin,Dogecoin, ect) in pool settings. But i'm still getting this

    That it works with GPU miner means it must be something CPU miner doesn't like - try this format:

    stratum+tcp://pool.ltcbox.net:3333

    I can only guess that it's a problem with CPU miner, that maybe will be fixed in the back end. try using another pool maybe? I'm afraid you won't get much with 2 threads though!

    its cool, glad i got the gpu miner up now i just have to configure to work with GAW fury and my gridseed dual miner. Thanks for the help tho much appreciated. TIME TO SMOKE A BLUNT
