Can't find any working pools for MacMiner...

I'm very new to BTC mining, in fact, MacMiner is the first I've installed but, the problem I keep facing is I can't find any working pools with MacMiner. I've tried Slushpool but it seems that the pool isn't connecting or showing up as a worker. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or what... Like I said, I'm new to this so any help on getting started is appreciated.

I would like to go BTC mining with my CPU, but I can't figure out how to join the fabulouspanda triplemining minipool. Going to http://fabulouspanda.triplemining.com redirects to the main triplemining site. If I register there, it creates a new mini pool just for me. It works, but I'm never going to get anywhere by myself. I'm obviously missing something...

Friends:

I entered my own information for Pool 1, and used the defaults that came with the S2 for Pools 2 and 3. I did this to check one change at a time. To my pleasant surprise, the hashing rate shot up to 1082GH/sec from 0. This is the first time I have been able to achieve hashing with this machine, and I owe my success to the many suggestions I have received from the contributors to this forum. This is the good news.

The bad news is that when I view the tab "Miner Status" is shows that my information on Pool 1 is "dead" and the only 'live" setting is for Pool 3 that uses:

My settings that lead to a dead outcome:

Is there something that I am doing that is leading all three of my pool settings fail? Do you have any suggestions for troubleshooting? Why does the default work yet all of my settings fail?

Hi,

I'm mining litecoin constantly and graph shows it (d7xt), but for some blocks I dont get payed! Graph shows 1.4Mh\s average over 12 hours, but for last two blocks (10:29 and 10:51,30th january) I didnt get payed (i'm not in the block payout list, but i am on the graph)!

For every block I get arround 0.04LTC, so according to my wallet balance I am sure i missed a few payouts. This is not the first time it happened, a few days ago i mined for 10 hours for nothing, even though a few blocks were found in that time.

Is something wrong with the pool payouts or am I being hacked somehow?

Any help is much appreciated...

Which Pools to chose?

I have been reading and reading and reading... and up until now I have no clear view of why one pool is better than another apart form the obvious (fees, payouts etc) which for most of pools are similar.

So can anyone recommend what pools are preferable (for Bitcoin, Litecoin and Dogecoin) and foremost which are the safest?

Hey everyone,

The pool server is going to be moving to a different hosting company once the new one is totally set up, and when it's switched over there will be a VTC node added, but in the meantime you can use it by IP rather than domain name here:

I'll post a new thread when the rest of the server is ready for people to migrate over to!

i was looking on http://coinchoose.com/index.php and am i correct in thinking my bfl should do any sha-256 algorithm? if so i do i change it so i can a pools address?

As above - using the command-line bgfminer 3.1, it shows me connected and stratum regularly requests work updates, yet I'm not visible in the pool. My ID is LafWH6DpB96HbsjSFGGNPq1Bzi5DiwwQsR

i'm trying to mine litecoin with gpu. For username/password I simply input my litecoin-qt receiving address? The miner shows me hashing but none are being accepted.

I'm only in kilo hashes, is this too low to mine litecoin?

Hi, I'm new to all of this and I'm struggling my a*s off trying to setup up my shiny new ASIC mining Cube on my MacBook Pro. I've gone for MacMiner as all of the stratum proxies, etc seem to be designed for Windows users. I was just wondering how I get a username and password for the Fabulous Panda pool so I can enter that into the Cube config page? Please help...

The Fabulous Panda Pool is moving to a new server today, the change will take a little while to take effect and in the meantime you may see unexpected stats on the pool site - if you'd like to switch to the new server manually without waiting for the change to take effect you can set up with your primary pool as

http://78.46.18.222:9332 for BTC or :9327 for LTC

But there is no need to act on the news, the move will take care of itself and the work from the old server counts towards the work on the new server. The old server will continue to operate for a few days after the move. Thanks everyone who's using it! The pool website will be improved drastically over the coming days/weeks following on from the MacMiner website improvements.
