Hi, I am a noob at mining so I need your help.

I am trying to mine on my iMac with Macminer and my USB Asic Miner.
I am so far, that I have got an 360Mh/s on pools. But my problem is that nothing lands on the account, like its mining for nothing.

I've got an ASIC miner. I'm trying to mine BTC. I've got MacMiner up and running, but struggling with the settings.

At the moment I'm just getting:

Hello, I am brand new to mining. I have installed mac miner and I have the gridseed 3355. I think the only thing I am missing is the drivers. When I run the Mac Miner ASIC miner I get the error:

Flags / Help Overclocking AntMiner U3v2 within MacMiner?

Hello,

I am new to bitcoin mining and have been having trouble figuring out how to overclock my antminer U3 v2. I've read up on it and spent hours trying to figure out how to add in the code to have it work out, but can't seem to figure it out. I'm running Mac OS X 10 and had difficulty getting the device to be recognized to begin with, but I fiddled around with lines of code I found online in regards to that issue and got it to work.

I currently am clocking around 35 gh/s, but I know the device can be overclocked towards 60 gh/s - does anybody have any ideas of flags or text I can insert into the windows within MacMiner itself that will allow me to increase the speed? I am pretty shitty at doing things through terminal, so if anybody has any suggestions and is willing to explain in a detailed enough way for a noob to understand, please let me know.

I'd really appreciate any help - very frustrated at this point. Thanks!

Is there a way to run the U3 antminer with macminer?

In macminer i saved both bitcoin and litecoin pools. is there a way to know which i am currently mining? and more importantly select which one i want to mine (im assuming that at various times its more profitable to mine one over the other)

I downloaded and installed the latest version - in the ASIC screen it shows the shares and the log, but at the top where it shows speed and accepted/rejected - the speed is 0 and the A/R rates are 0...

Unable to connect miners OS X 10.9

I am new to mining. I have an iMac running the latest version of OS X 10.9. I have a total of Three Butterfly Labs 60 Gh/s miners. I am not sure where I am going wrong. I am able to connect one miner through BFG miner using the terminal. I know the address to all Three miners. When I try to connect more than one.

I get these results

- I see sick on the one of the miners

- They start to slow down

- sometimes they turn off

I am not sure if I am typing in something wrong or my power supply setup is wrong. Looking for any help I can get.

Sorry for the slow progress on this. Please download the latest MacMiner and use the included bfgminer or GPU/FPGA/ASIC windows

then try running GPU window set to scrypt with the manual flag

1) Running 3 ice fury USB sticks but still only see 0.0MH on the apple icon reflecting my running macminer on my iMac….

2) How would I cut and paste a screen snapshot of what it is doing from the monitor to this bulletin board if thats necessary?

3) I have it set up as a BFG miner at this point…. is that my best bet for being included in a mining pool with the hardware I have?

bfgminer killing other USB devices sporadically

I have several USB serial devices connected, and recently (since updating to MacMiner 1.5, but not sure if it started exactly when I made the switch) my other apps have started dying - losing connection to their hardware. This does not happen every time, I can't figure out a 100% repro for it.

In the FPGA options window I have unselected all of the 'auto detect' boxes and added -S /dev/cu.usbserial-FTWWMIYE as my manual flag.

This used to work, but now I'm seeing lines like the following in the log windows

Best configuration of FPGA/ASIC Miner using BFL 50 GH/s Single ASIC

Hi there, Fab. I've been using MacMiner for a couple days now. Thanks for making this package available to all of us. My question is about the best Miner Settings for a BFL 50GH/s Single ASIC setup, or perhaps questions about the various options.

-I have "Enable debug output" checked -- where do I see this output? Does it have anything to do with the API Output window?

-Since I don't want to enable the GPU on my iMac, I don't have "Enable GPU" checked.

-Should I enable Quiet Output, or is that unnecessary since I'm running off the BFL ASIC?

Is there a way for me to see how many cores are functioning on my BFL ASIC? The light on my BFL ASIC is blinking, which leads me to believe that it's throttling down. Butterfly Labs' support has been horrendous, and I have no idea if the blinking is really due to throttling or something completely normal. I just want to see how many cores are active and their speed, but I don't know if that's possible through MacMiner.

Strangely enough, I was getting 50GH/s while using the de facto BFL PSU. However, I decided to NOT use the BFL PSU due to problems I've read about (namely, reports of catching fire, and the noise level). I switched to a 700W PSU with 2 PCI-E 6-pin connectors. The noise level has come down quite a bit off the PSU, but the speed dropped down to 43GH/s, which is quite a drop. Not sure if I can attribute that to the PSU, or if something else is amiss, leading back to my question about checking the cores and their speeds.

Thanks for all your help. I'm not expecting you to answer questions about the BFL ASIC, of course, but thought I'd mention it just to give context to my questions.

in he setup of the pool it asks for username and password, should my litecoin id be in both spots. thanks for any help in straightening me out.

Firstly i would like to congratulate use for such a very nice product! in try mac fashion simplicity at its best :p , especially with the guide was kinda a breeze to set up, once i kinda knew what i was doing.

im a complete novice at this and reading code was a bit hard to say the least. i managed to get the bfl to work for a few days and whoo hooo i was mining! but i do get these drop where it stops mining and seems to be stuck in a loop with this showing

i normally unplug and restart the app and where back up and running again.

but my question is this i have tried to mine LTE through the FPGA/ASIC bfg miner. Is this

A. possible

B. how do i know if it is mining? as i have not recived no coins in the wallet i assigned in the username of the pool! and how would i know on the software?

and also i have to enabled the enable quite output, does this matter as i assume its not mining from my cpu anyhow and is using the bfl to mine, as there only one device, PGA0, in the API Output section.

any help would be much appritiated. sry i dont know much abt this so wasnt sure on what otehr information to provide!
