MacMiner.app V-1.5.70 GUI: Not Working "Error Message: Setting Changed"

Hi I just downloaded MacMiner.app V-1.5.70 GUI version I gets error Message as Setting changed and when I click on "Hmm Ok: button the error keeps coming up after very second not sure what to do I have not changed anything also I moved the app file in to mac application folder and running from application folder. Please help

I installed Saphire Nitro + RX 580 on my Mac Pro 2010. But after the program runs, the computer become very laggy. I even barely move the mouse. I tried CPU mining only before, but it works great, no issue.

I thought that was the intensity too high, so I set the intensity lower. The issue still occur. Anyone have similar problem?

Any chance of supporting PHI1612 algorithm?

I really tried to get XMR-stak compiled and working with my GPU but I just kept getting so many missing file errors and I am not sure how that happened because I pulled everything from GIT I thought... Anyway I tried another currency and it is working perfectly... Latest build of MacMiner uses all my GPU... Perfect!!!

Anyway you could add Monero on the next release? Thanks so much!!! Really liking MacMiner!!! Going to donate some coins once I mine them

I use your GUI in terminal, But recommand something to add into the gpu miner. Now there are a lot of algoritms you can mine in the gpu miner, But cryptonight is missing. Could you Guy's add this algoritm in the next update?

Hey Fabulous Panda! This project is incredible and I hope you are continuing to work on it. Could you guide me on how I could mine alt-coins on my MacBook Pro with Radeon Pro 460 4 GB GPU? I'm sure a lot of us with new MBP are interested now that they come with AMD cards built in.

I've been mining Verge lately on a mining rig but would love to on my MBP. I would gladly pay for this setup!

Mining difficulty has increased causing basic CPU mining not to be really viable anymore. I was wondering if there is a way, and if not, if the dev. could add this, to mine coins such as Litecoin's & Dogecoin's using the computer GPU? This would be really cool.

I finally found some duplicate javascript which had been confusing my modifications but have finally fixed a few issues raised before, such as the white text in the editor.

If anyone has any suggestions for the appearance of the forum please let me know now while it's fresh in my memory ;)

I was wondering if there was a way to choose which graphics card you would mine with like on Asteroid? Because I really like MacMiner but my Intel Iris Pro is way too hot when I use it for mining--it runs in the 90's celsius. If not then I would like to request that feature, please!

I'm new here but a user for sometime.I like this app except that I can't use any Scrypt based ASICs as they've been in circulation for sometime and it would be nice if I can use my DualMiner USB ASIC (with all 3 modes-BTC only,LTC only and BTC/LTC combo mining) on my mac without having to reply on VMWare fusion 6 to run it.As the whole point of ASIC mining is to reduce your electric bill/impact on the environment,not increasing it.

Please add support for DualMiner USB and the GridSeed ASICs (for Scrypt based mining).

• Improve forum CSS

• Set device hash rates to 0 for MobileMiner when mining is stopped

• Don't let people start mining a coin they haven't set up

• Improve pool settings

• Remove save buttons as save can be called on changes

• Improve app behaviour related to cgminer on 10.9

• DualMiner and Gridseed support

• Add CPU Miner to MobileMiner

• Changes not on this list but 'approved' are probably about to be included in a new version :)

The MacMiner project is operating around break even now, so I've decided I'm going to start pushing some of the revenue back in to improving the app!

If anyone makes an improvement to the code for the app, please include a commented line of credit for yourself with a BTC address for a reward - changes I pull in to MacMiner will be awarded between 0.005 and 0.1BTC

Not really a feature request, but in the FAQs it should be SUPER OBVIOUS that MacMiner needs to be in the Applications folder. I had a lot of troubles until I came across that tidbit.

Also, the language might be more clear if the Pool Setup page didn't say BTC and LTC and instead said:

SHA-256 Mining (Bitcoin, Peercoin, Devcoin, etc)

Scrypt Mining (Litecoin, Dogecoin, Tagcoin, etc)

Just a thought. Great app!
